I have worked with Derrick for almost 2 years and he has changed my life. He teaches you about nutrition as well as fitness. He goes above and beyond and he is such a great motivator. I took my first class with Derrick today and it was actually a lot of fun! I’m not experienced with working out, so I was a bit intimidated at first, but Derrick made sure I felt comfortable and provided exercises I could actually do confidently, while still getting a great burn! I was pleasantly surprised because I was actually sweating and having fun! Can’t wait for my next class! Highly recommend you do the one on one 60 minute class because the 30 mins I got, went by too fast. I wanted more!
What a great work out all over. The class was 30 mins which was a perfect amount of time especially for someone like me who hadn’t worked out in MONTHS. Although intense to target every body part in a short period of time, Derricks coaching and modifications made it easy and enjoyable to complete. Take the class you won’t regret it!
I took my first class today and it was great. I love to be challenged but he also offers a variety of movements for beginners. I scheduled another class for next week because I thoroughly enjoyed myself. In only 30 minutes I accomplished a lot!
Derrick Scott is hands down a great trainer. The first time I met with Derrick for my initial assessment one of the questions I asked him was when I could have cheat meals, he immediately called me out. He said you say you’re serious about making changes but then one of the first questions you ask is when you can have a cheat meal? How serious are you? And that was exactly what I needed to hear. Derrick helped me stay accountable and true to myself and my goals. Within 5 months of working with Derrick I lost 20 pounds, 15% of my bodyweight! Derrick provided the guidance I need to help get the most nutrition out of my meals and have the most effective workouts. There are no tricks to getting fit, putting in the work and staying accountable are what it takes and having a motivating trainer like Derrick made all the difference for me. I always look forward to working out with Derrick, he has a great sense of humor and outlook. While the workouts are tough, they never feel like a chore.
